SCHEDULE 2008
The wall space at the new Gallery allows for up to 7 exhibitors per show. Artist’s works will now be accepted by invitation. As themes of proposed shows are announced well in advance, there will be ample opportunity for artists to show their works. All artwork submitted is subject to a process of evaluation by the associates of Northern Exposure Gallery. During the spring, summer, and fall seasons we will have available outside viewing spaces, on or near the Wish House lawn. This will enable us to plan for additional shows. These types of shows, commonly known as “clothesline art shows,” are a popular means to showcase diverse levels of artwork and are often associated with local fundraisers benefiting the community. We hope to be able, once more, to combine creative efforts with local schools by offering young aspiring photographers an opportunity to exhibit in a gallery setting.

The financial aspects of Northern Exposure Gallery will be conducted through Bianca Langner-Griggs and Richard Griggs, of The Wish House Gift Shop. A 30% commission on all sales generated by the gallery will be deducted. The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 12 noon to 5:30 pm. On Thursday the Gallery is staffed by The Wish House. Gallery associates are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If guest artists contribute sitting time, their fees can be reduced, as described above. SHOW APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Applicable Gallery exhibits for this calendar year begin with TOWN and COUNTRY and conclude with PHOTOGRAPHER’S CHOICE (see schedule). Summer Outdoor Exhibits will start June 14th-15th ending after the Labor Day weekend - view schedule listed on page 3. When you contact us, stating your interest and choice of theme(s) for exhibiting, we would like to arrange a visit to show you the gallery space and at the same time to review your images. Actual or digital proofs are acceptable. (You may bring a CD.) This process allows us to plan for a cohesive show. The Gallery will have available seven (7) sections of wall space for each featured show. In the event more than 7 artists apply for the same show, the Gallery reserves the right to decide whose work to exhibit. As there are four show themes available, we suggest that you apply to exhibit in more than one show. In this way, you will be better assured of an exhibition space.
